  • Sanna is trained to provide somatic therapy such as EMDR, Brainspotting and Flash. She also utilizes ERP, and Parts work (similar to IFS) in her work.

Coaching

What is coaching and how is coaching different from therapy?

  • Coaching is focused on helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being, while mental health therapy is focused on treating mental health conditions and addressing emotional and psychological concerns.

  • Coaches are not clinically licensed and cannot diagnose clients with mental health conditions, while mental health therapists are licensed professionals who can diagnose and treat mental health conditions. Although I am a licensed counselor, I can also provide coaching services to help with support those who are not seeking therapy. Coaching clients will not be given diagnoses and will not be able to participate in EMDR therapy. They are given life coaching support which can include Brainspotting and parts work.

  • Coaching is a good option for individuals who are functioning at ordinary or higher levels but want to work through emotional discomfort and make additional gains, while mental health therapy is a good option for individuals who are struggling with mental health conditions or significant emotional and relational concerns.
